Sony Asia Pacific announced 4 new E-Series LCD business projectors, including VPL-EW5, VPL-EX50, VPL-EX5 and VPL-ES5. They will feature 3-LCD panel system, up to WXGA (1280 x 800) and XGA (1024 x 768) resolution, 2500 ANSI lumens of brightness, up to 900:1 contrast ratio, Sony’s BrightEra imaging technology.
Sony’s BrightEra imaging technology incorporates an inorganic alignment layer within the LCD panel, making the display panels significantly resistant to damage from UV energy while allowing for increased aperture ratios.
